The Tissue Viability Society continues to host popular free Regional Study Days around the UK. Experts in Tissue Viability deliver informative lectures, which are supported by a small company exhibition.
Content and format
Experts in Tissue Viability deliver two informative lectures with up-to-date content on relevant aspects of pressure ulcer prevention and management and wound assessment and dressings.
The two lectures are delivered in a morning session, which is then repeated in the afternoon. Both sessions are supported by a bed/mattress and dressings company exhibition which is very popular with people attending the study day.
Anyone with an interest in, and desire to improve, the prevention and management of wounds: nurses, doctors, pharmacists, allied health professionals, carers are all welcome.
What would you be responsible for?
Providing a suitable venue with enough space for to 20-30 delegates and the supporting exhibition. Mid-morning and mid-afternoon refreshments and a light lunch for the two speakers and company representatives.
You will be working with our Study Day co-ordinator to ensure as many people as possible will benefit from the smooth running of the day.
